I’m not sure if it was the trickling rain, the towering redwoods, or the way Rue and Mickey look at each other—but if I had to put this wedding day in one word, it would be ‘gentle’. It was such an intimate and sweet day, and watching the way Rue and Mickey interact with each other and their pure-hearted vows and tears was getting me choked up inside too.

Rue and Mickey are both in visual design, and you could pick up their attention to every detail in their day. I’d also tell you how these two met—but Rue’s maid of honor does such a good job of it herself, I’ll leave it to the video.

I felt so honored to capture the love these two share. Congrats Rue & Mickey!
