Amidst the concrete jungle of LA, these two Houstonians found each other and fell in love. The night they met, Steph had hurt her neck and didn’t want to go out. But – Connor’s glad she did.
Can I just say – I LOVED THIS WEDDING DAY. First off – Steph’s personality just seems to personify the warmness, joy and vibrant vibe that Palm Springs is. She has an ease to laughter that made my job real easy.
Connor is also such a sweet guy and a perfect match for Steph. I wanted to pick his brain the whole day with questions when I heard he grew up in Saudi Arabia (whaat?!). I loved seeing how close his friendship was with the other groomsmen whom he grew up with, and who are now so close to Steph too. With a smaller wedding due to COVID, I just loved how intimate their day felt surrounded by the people closest to them.
Their decor, envisioned by Josefina Events, was just jaw-dropping gorgeous and perfect for the Palm Springs vibe. Their intimate ceremony and reception at Spencer’s Restaurant, with the tall palm trees against the mountain backdrop, was cozy and everything a wedding in this desert oasis should be. Despite Connor and Steph having to change venues and reimagine their day – it couldn’t have been more perfect.
These two originally weren’t going to have a videographer capture the day – but after so many people wouldn’t be able to make it because of Covid, they wanted to have a video to share their day with so many of their loved ones and decided to bring me on board. I’M SO GLAD THEY DID!!!
Steph and Connor – thanks for making my Palm Springs wedding visions a reality, ha! CONGRATS to you both, and I’m so grateful to have captured your love, your story, and your wedding day!
